Human trafficking is modern day slavery. It is the fastest-growing crime in the world and the #2 crime in the U.S. There are more people living in slavery today than ever before in history. An estimated 30 million people are living as slaves worldwide, and many are here in the United States. North Carolina is one of the states with the largest number of slaves.
